Read the bands like this. Above 85 is strong. 70 to 84 usually means two or three missing hard skills. 50 to 69 means the resume reads generically against this role. Below 50, check your layout before assuming an experience gap — tables, sidebars, and text inside images are silently dropped by parsers.
The three fastest fixes: match the exact job title in your headline where it is honest, move true-but-missing skills out of the footer skills list and into the bullet where you actually used them, and replace creative section names with standard ones — Summary, Experience, Education, Skills, Projects.
Then re-run the check. If the score does not move after adding a keyword, the keyword was cosmetic. Real gains come from evidence: a keyword attached to a number and an outcome.
